Golf carts don’t really don’t cut it for Daniel. Too slow, and not enough torque. But, the man knows how to get it around the track on weekends. Daniel Dye is here this week to chop it up a bit about his early career in racing and his low-key love for golf.
We get into some fast talk out the gate while hearing the story of his dad owning Roberto Clemente’s car that he drove to the airport before the plane crash. The car gets uncovered every 21st of the month, and it’s clear that cars and racing is in his DNA.
He fills us in on life on the track and what a race means to him. We get a look inside the weekend and how the operations run when it’s race time…like a 14-second four-tire change and refuel. We talk about road rage and what that means to him on a normal road.
